Get ready for the Merry Market in the Mall 2024! Here's what you need to know:
Location: We are in negotiations with in 3 locations – Tampa Premium Outlets in Pasco County (Wesley Chapel), International Mall in Tampa, and Tyrone Mall in South Pinellas. We will maintain our space on the first floor of Countryside Mall, right next to JC Penney.
Festive Décor and Philanthropic Outreach: The store will be decked out with Christmas Trees, adorned by local businesses. These trees will be gifted to families in need around 2 weeks before Christmas.
Presenting Sponsorship: An incredible opportunity awaits an organization or business to become a Presenting Sponsor, contributing to the store's success.
Operating the Store: A full schedule of Market in the Mall Shopkeepers, so vendors won't need to manage the store directly. Sit back and let us handle it!
Timeframe: We anticipate building out the stores in early October and having an opening date in late October/early November. Vendors will have a week prior to opening to load in merchandise and set up their displays. We will need to clear out by these locations in the 1st week of January 2025.
Deposits & Paperwork: Interested Vendors will need to remit a non-refundable / non-transferrable $200 deposit for each location where they would like to participate. This deposit will be applied towards the cost of your space.
Spaces will be offered in order of placement rankings. A placement ranking will be issued upon the $200 deposit being paid in full. You may pay the invoice in 2 equal installments – the 1st upon receipt of the invoice for the deposit, the 2ndno later than 30 days from the invoice date – but keep in mind your ranking is not set until the $200 deposit is paid in full.
Once the space is finalized at a location, the offerings will be posted and assigned by placement ranking. A final agreement, onboarding process, and final payment will be due no later than 10/1/24.
Revenue and Fees: Your sales payout will be calculation on 10/31, 11/30 and 12/31, with direct deposit payments. A 15% commission and credit card fees will be deducted by CM&E. Any costs associated with Electronic Funds Transfers (Direct Deposit) will be the responsibility of vendor.
Point of Sale and Inventory: CM&E handles the software, giving you access to sales records. Vendors must label items on branded tags – we will be VERY strict on this as it is imperative for you to build your brand.
Hours of Operation: The Merry Market in the Mall will follow the hours set by each location for in-line tenants.
Display and Merchandising: Vendors, bring your A-game! Fully merchandise your space with ample inventory. CM&E provides tables, table coverings, and standard hooks for peg board wall displays. Additional items can be used upon CM&E approval. Restock during opening hours.
Sales and Discounts: Sales and discounts are welcome, but no individual vendor gift certificates or cards, please.
Returns: Sales are final; no returns or exchanges are possible in the stores.
Vendor Count: We're looking at around 45-60 vendors, with limited categories for a fair and diverse product mix.
Pricing: To give you some idea of your commitment, here's the working numbers on space pricing for the entire 2-month event (if the store opens in October, we will add a per diem based on the additional days added to the event) – this is subject to change, it is meant as information only:
Shelving Units - $250 (we typically work with a 4 ft wide section with 4 to 5 shelves)
Peg Board Wall Panel - $250 (4’W x 8’H)
6 ft Table: $550
4 ft Table: $500
Large Round (approx. 42"): $475
Medium Round (approx. 32"): $450
Small Round (approx. 24"): $250
NOT ALL LOCATIONS will have these space options and SOME will have additional space availability!

The remaining Seasonal Space Fee is due by October 1st – NO LATER.
